We participated in a baby-and-parents gathering here at Champaign-Urbana yesterday, though our Yao Yao was not officially eligible yet. :) There were totally about 12 families attended. The weather was beautiful, the potluck food was delicious and yes, the babies are extremely lovely! I took about 950MB photos for the babies from the beginning till the dusk.

As I concluded before, to take photos of babies, especially infants and toddlers, is a task needs you have patience, perseverance, personal charm(don’t laugh, that’s true!), physical flexibility and a little photographic technique. Babies move and react in their own manners and they will never pose for you. So I think the most important point to take good photos for babies is to be there and get your camera ready at any time, but not fancy camera gears. “Babies grow faster than we imagine”, and babies’ precious moments are shorter than we can imagine too.

Share some happy moments with us.
